Every Saab with a Clarion radio that I've seen has the rear speakers reversed in phase (including 900's). I suppose they liked the 'spacey' sound from the phase cancellation. I was about to meet with a Clarion engineer when Saab switched away from Clarion & I guess they lost interest. At any rate, check out the article in Audio for more details (like a plot of the response).
