Keith, if yours is an 89 900S, you will just have tee for the crankcase vent from the valve cover to the throttle body. If you had a turbo, you would have throttle bypass valve. I had an 87 900S and I have an 87 9000S, both 16V. Check your hose connections at the throttle body. I put clamps on the larger hoses on my 87 9000S. It helped, because there was a slight leakage going on. What type of plugs are you using. If you are using NGK plugs, check your gap. It should not be more than .028. The previous owner had NGK BCP6ES plugs in my 9000. I switched to Bosch Platinum single electrode and now run the Bosch +4 plugs. The part number for non-DI Saabs is 4418. The other thing is giving your throttle body a thorough cleaning.. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T Keith Grider wrote: > Group, > > I have an '89 900.
