Subject: 1987 900T Keyless Entry

I have, on my 1987 900T a keyless entry (alarm?) system
which I found just the other day while taking the rear seat
belts out from under the rear seat. I bought the car used, and
the system seems active (red lights were on with doors and
trunk open), but the dealer never told me about the system,
tells me he didn't know it had it either. My question is how
do I get the remote or whatever and get it up and running
for me again. As I said, it does seem to be on, and the second
part of my question is is it hurting anything that I have not been
using it (since it seems in active running mode).
David
