You may have to reverse the wiring for the motor to get it to work correctly. Vauxhall locking motors (Cavalier etc) also work but you definitely have to reverse the wiring on those. You can strip the motor unit & sometimes repair it yourself, just drill the rivets & replace with bolts afterwards. My local salvage company have all their parts bagged, tagged & racked + listed on computer, even down to the car reg that the part came from. They charged me £20 for a door lock motor.
