I have an 89 9000cd. My alarm was not working, but my radio was. I changed batteries and--not thinking very clearly--briefly connected the poles to the opposite wire. The shock I witnessed set me straight. Anyway, I connected everything up correctly and set about making sure I didn't blow anything. My alarm works, but at the apparent expense of a functioning stereo. Here is a summary of my disgnost5ic workup to date: No fuses are blown. Power exists to fuse #19 as well as the two fuses behind the stereo. Placed in another Saab, my stereo will work. The power antenna works, and responds to the radio switch. The stereo itself acts exactly like fuse #19 has been pulled. Any hints or suggestions?? How would I most easily run power directly to the stereo? Does anybody have a diagram for the stereo cage?? --Dustin Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
