I ran a set of Pirelli Winter 190s for 16 years on my 900. I could go up hills where four wheel drive SUVs were slipping and spinning. I am trying a set of Michelin Arctic Alpines on another front wheel drive car. These are supposed to be better on ice - only time will tell. eichler wrote: > I am looking to buy a set of dedicated snow tires for my '88 900. > What tires can anyone reccommend? > TireRack has referred me to Yokahama's & Dunlop's but I know there are > Swedish snow tires whose names I cannot remember. > Can anyone help? > > Also, my car takes 195/20-15 tires now.
