Hi, I was earlier in my messages writing that I had trouble with accelerator because it got stuck time to time. I believe I have found the reason why this happens, it's not the wire or dust in the accelerator. I believe it's ICE! What happened, I found that there is a small device inside the air-tube right before accelerator. This is supposed to pass air through vacuum-lines in order to control flap that adjusts whether the air is taken from right outside or the warmer air from the engine. This small device inside the air tube has two vacuum lines connected to it, I was told that it doesn't matter which way they are connected. This was wrong, I think! Earlier on I had to remove the device in order to fix the air-pipe. Accidently it fell off before I had the time to see which way it was connected.. Well, it seems that I reconnected it in the wrong way and was happy with it.. and even my mechanic told me it doesnt matter which way it is connected to the vacuum lines and suspected that there was something else wrong with my accelerator.. I think what then happened was that accelerator got too much cold air, always right outside and froze because the adjust in the front didnt work at all.. accelerator got stuck at near zero outside temperatures.. Yesterday I reconnected the device in the other way and after test drive accelerator didnt get stuck.. not at all.. I have now driven nearly 300km with the car without any problems, even the outside temperature is colder than before.. Is it really this easy to get accelerator frozen? H. Mastokangas
