Hi Rob, I've installed a CDC 605 in my wife's 1998 900. I was told that it was the actual unit that Saab utilized. No clue as to whether the units you listed would work or not, but I do know that the reason a 6 disk changer is best for the install is that the factory head unit can only read 6 discs and no more. Getting a 12 disc changer would do you no good. As for the 9-3, I just installed a factory unit in my 2K. It's a Pioneer unit and again, as I was told, Pioneer is not making an aftermarket changer that will work with the factory Saab system. For the time being, we're stuck with buying the changer directly from Saab. Also, be prepared for your dealer to charge you an additional fee for the labor of 'coding' this new changer to your head unit. Apparently this process is not DIY, as I couldn't get anyone to explain how to do it.
