A dedicated News Reader program works best. You can mark threads you want to follow, delete messages you no longer want, filter which subjects or authors you want to read.......When you go online you can select "Get New Headers" and you will only receive the latest posts, not the entire archive. Try Forte's Free Agent. If you like it, the Agent version is well worth the $29 USD if you do much in newsgroups. Otherwise the free version will work fine, though iy has fewer features. http://www.forteinc.com/ John Davies Monroe WA USA
