The salesman's words suggested it may have been there last year but has been dropped, so the one he proposed giving me would be some excess inventory, I suppose. The changeover only happened in the past few weeks. Sometimes one can take advantage of accountants' mindset: "Surplus stock costs money, so dump the surplus stock."
