Subject: Re: Steering wheel problem Saab 9-3 1998

Hi, Have you checked the front strut thrust bearing? I had one break a couple of years ago on my 1994 900S and it had a very similar effect on the steering wheel. It did not show a lot of other effect on the operation of the car. I was told it was not uncommon on the NG 900, but had been addressed in the 9-3. Maybe not.
