Ok my fellow Saabers or should I say sobbers. I love'em as much as you do but they are trouble at times...lots of times! I just can't seem to get rid of it though. I have a 1989 900S that has done this to me more than once so I thought everything was going to be ok, but my car is spending the night in a lonely parking lot tonight. I was speeding home after work and had one errand to make before arriving at home. I stopped and turned off the car. When I returned it would turn over and over but would not start. I waited several minutes because, like I said this has happened before. Well, after several minutes it acted as if it would start by sputtering a few seconds before dying again. I left and came back an hour or so later and still the same thing. In the past after I let it cool down and it would crank right up again. I even had a guy stop once and told me to hold the gas pedal to the floor while turning the motor over and low and behold that did it, but I tried everything this time with no luck. I think maybe it's the fuel pump since it is sputtering for a few seconds and then dying....anyone have anything else that comes to mind???? Thanks, Nick
