Subject: Engaging reverse

Hi, I'd appreciate some advice or comments on a whirring/rasping noise i've noticed when i engage reverse on my 1992 900S Aero Turbo. The noise only seems to occur after i've done some motorway driving and not after i've driven around town or only driven a few miles. Other than the noise i describe, reverse does engage normally. It doesn't 'clunk' into gear nor is it stiff. The gearbox was rebuilt 18months ago, could it be a case of bad workmanship?? and should it be a cause for concern?? What do you guys think?? Cheers, AMAR Black 1992 900S Aero Turbo (151K miles)
