Tony, Paula, I had quite a few problems with my 9000 CSi 2.3 16V (non-turbo) automatic. About some of them you can read on my web page: http://home-1.12move.nl/~sh605222/ The message is: the car may be OK but the customer support sucks. My car was shortly out of guarantee and that here in is only one year long and yet they told me I was on my own when my engine got stuck (your case?). In my case, we later found out it was a defective crankshaft (factory fault) but the SAAB customer support people told me that since the warranty expired they were not going to do anything about it.
