Tony, Paula, I had quite a few problems with my 9000 CSi 2.3 16V (non-turbo) automatic. My car was shortly out of guarantee and that here in is only one year long and yet they told me I was on my own when my engine got stuck (your case?). In my case, we later found out it was a defective crankshaft (factory fault) but the SAAB customer support people told me that since the warranty expired they were not going to do anything about it.
