Subject: changing Saab 900 S '94 regular gauges to Night Panel



I don't know if this applies to Saab 900 2,0 S sold in the USA and Canada
but here in Finland the '94 and '95 900 2,0 S is equipped with a gauge
panel that has only the speedometer and gauges for the fuel and
temperature. All the other models have the Night Panel that has the
tachometer included. 

I was wondering how hard a task it would be to replace the regular panel
with the Night Panel. The Night Panel feature is not important. I would
just like to have the tachometer and I'm not very keen about installing an
aftermarket tach on the top of the dash. 

Has anyone done this before? Is any extra wiring needed? Do the plugs have
to be changed? Any advice is gratefully accepted?
