Subject: Re: OIL leak

Hi again, after spending a number of hours under the front of my 9000, i still cant trace the oil leak, depite all of the suggestions (thanks everyone!). The oil filter seems to be fine, the one location that i still suspect is a (not sure of the correct terminology), metal oil line with a 90 degree bend in it that comes from just under the oil filter. I washed the entire area to try to see where the oil was coming from, and after an hour or 2 of the car left stationary there seemed to be a collection of oil in the thread. Despite my poor description can someone tell me what this pipe is for and how would i remedy a leaking thread, (i already tried to tighten it up a bit, dont want to overtighten it as i dont know what its for, part of turbo intercooler i presumed?!) Thanks Brett
