That's supposed to mean that there is one fault, you press one of the controls (VENT or <=> depending on your model of ACC) and it reports the actual error code. Or so the documentation says. Mine was saying "2" every time I started it (two faults), but refused to divulge the code. So I put it into recalibrate and test mode (hold down AUTO and <=> at ignition switch-on IIRC - it's all on the web somewhere, a google search for SAAB 9000 ACC found it very easily). Hey presto, 0 was reported and I've had no errors reported since! So try that. -- On-line canal route planner: http://www.mihalis.net/canal/cgi-bin/index.cgi or http://www.tty.org.uk/canal
