You may have to degrease the engine bay first if it is really yucky. If the leak is in fact coming from the pump, I suggest you rebuild or replace it before it fails completely. If the leak is from the steering rack or a hose, then address that issue first and see how things are afterwards. I sure sounds like a bad pump, IMHO. John Davies Monroe WA USA
