Thanks, Dennis. I'm in Boston. I checked on the car's records (why is it that Saab dealers never stamp the damn books? This car did not have a single stamp in the service manual.). The car has been maintained at the dealer here, and had its serpentine belt and pulleys replaced at 71k miles. Very clean car, no paintwork, new brakes and tires. So, I bought it.
