You will feel "gritty" shifting and a bit of whine in the top[ gerars. Don't let this go or it will cost you the shifter forks and progressively the gears. Be sure to stop the gearbox before putting it in reverse. These gears are very easy to damage by scraping into reverse. Ball joints. Carron getting ready to do reverse in my daughter's 900.
