Subject: Re: brake lights on 1990 900TC

I have a similar problem to this but with a '96 convertible. I get varying "rearlight failure" or "brakelight failure" messages coming up on the console display. It's intermittant (they're the best) and the syptom (as far as you can judge while driving the car and trying to find out what's going on with the tail lights) is that the centre brakelight stays on and the brake lights only increase in brightness a little when I brake. It appears to happen much more when I've got the lights on but that maybe that I notice the effect more at night. Any ideas? Many thanks Ian Bell "Edward D.
