Subject: Re: Factory Warranty and Paint

Scott, I live in New Hampshire, where it's known to snow a little bit as well. I picked up my Viggen in January, and I drove through two storms before getting wise. My dealer had a set of 16" wheels w/Michelin snow tires for a 9-5, and I snapped them up. I would highly recommend doing the same, since there is virtually no control in the sloppy weather with the factory tire/wheel package. With snow tires, however, control is superb and inspires confidence. It's a blast. That said, I spent a considerable amount of time looking for the right car before I test-drove the Viggen. It was coming down to the BMW 330 or the S4. Both cars are fantastic, but were built for folks a little shorter than me (6' 4"). I found the Viggen to offer a superior driving position, and a personality that begged to owned by someone who truly appreciates the driving experience. Coupled with the fact that my hair isn't constantly touching the headliner, it became clear that this was definitely the one. There aren't many around, as I'm sure you know - I live in NH and had mine shipped up from Palm Beach. http://plummhsd.ne.mediaone.net/viggen The only problems I've had with the paint is the flaking on the air dam. Otherwise, it's a very sharp finish, and with proper care, will last forever, I'm sure. Absolutely no other problems with the vehicle otherwise. Kinda bummed that they're not making them anymore, but that shouldn't be a problem since I'll have mine forever...or until some cell-phone wielding maniac drills me into a guardrail on I-93. -cp "Scott Timinski" <stiminsnopsamll.net> wrote in message news:B6E73BDF.1A28%stiminsnopsamll.net... > in article 6t9w6.11289$Wz.4369079nopsamoon.ne.mediaone.net, Plum at > postmasternopsam0.0.1 wrote on 3/27/01 5:35 PM: > > Nope - sorry.
