Subject: Re: Repair in Wash DC Area?

Well, I live about 2 hours south, in Charlottesville and I have a great mechanic you might check out. I had talked to him about replacement transmissions when I first bought my saab (90 900spg) just to know what I was getting into and he said is comes to roughly 2500 when all is said and done. Not too bad... The shop is called Cville Imports and can be reached at 804-923-8309. They specialize in Volvos and Saabs, but also work on all other Euro and some Japanese imports. He's been my mechanic for years and has been wonderfull for both my new saab, and my old VW ('89 Jetta GLi 16V). When you find a good, honest, mechanic you stick with him. The fellow who owns the shop is named BR, but anyone should be able to help you. Also, I seem to recall an all saab sale/service place along 29N in Warrenton, but the name slips my mind. -Dan Michael Weiner wrote: > > I posted yesterday about needing to get the transmission replaced on an '88 > 9000 turbo. The car is still relatively low mileage (90,000 or > so). Thanks. -- Dan Schleifer | 804.242.5088 | dannopsamis.cc Fenris Security
