Would I be better off purchasing new seats? There are two fixes. The first is to fit a couple of washers to shorten your stretched cable. This is covered in TSB SI No. 852-1878. The part required is: 49 03 431 Cable spacer (CA: 30576055). The factory estimate is .4 hours - so the cost at a dealer for one side at $75/hour would be just $30 per side. The second fix is to replace the cable that the level pulls. IMHE, you have to replace the cable to get it to work right. I had the dealer do the spacers but it didn't help much. A new cable made it work like a Honda. I don't know what the labor estimate is on the cable - mine was under warranty and alldata doesn't list it. There's NO way purchasing new seats is a reasonable option. Bob
