Think that Benz has best resale value, Saab is not that great in this area. BMW sounds like better choice due to it's status symbol. New owner of Saab - GM may not treat their customers any different than they treat GM product buyer(s) ,,, something to consider. My co-worker got new Jeep last year, his car had major engine problem - rod punched engine block .... a major problem to get repair done , rental car covered & hotel paid for and get Chryster to paid for it... service from dealer & manuf. reputation / lack of should be considered w/ new car purchase... best of luck, John P. PS - I like 'classic' Saab 900 much better then GM derivative... it is much easier to service.
