I am not sure I agree completely with the descriptions of the 9-5 as being tight and rattle free. Don't get me wrong - I adore my 2000 2.3 LPT 9-5 - but at 10,000 miles it sounds like it has 90,000 miles in terms of rattles and squeaks. Good news is that the dealer does a good job correcting them. ( A friend recently asked: How come my car cost half what yours did and it doesn't make noises like that...?) Ugh. My $.02 worth!
