I had Konis and KYBs on my 83 900T. The Konis rode hard, and the KYBs were a joke after about 40,000 miles. About 15,000 miles ago I replaced the struts and shocks on my 87 9000S with Boge/Sachs. I did it myself, and I love them. I got mine from the Sobstory.com. They cost me about $345 including the shipping.
