Subject: 2.3t into a <-93 900?

Hi, I'm thinking of putting a -95 2.3t into a 900. The idea of 225 stock HP, Trionic and DI are appealing! :-).I fitted a 9000-T16 engine in a 900, and it wasn't any major problems.I used the inletmanifoil, exhaust manifoil and the "oil pump cover" from a 900 T16, and drilled a hole for the "turbo-oil inlet". Now , the things I'm wondering about are : Will the inletmanifoil and exhaustmanifoil from a 900 T16 fit on the 2.3? Does the 2.1 inlet manifoil fit the 2.3 top? Does the "camchain/oilpump" cover fit on the 2.3engine? I have been thinking about the DI system, the sensor are fitted to the cover mentioned above, aren't they? How much work will it be to modify the 900cover so that the sensors can be fitted? In worst case scenario I could use the 900 ignition.. (Or make a new cover from scratch.) Will the crankshaft from a 2.3 fit in a 2.0 engineblock? I have noticed that they have the same bore... What is the bore of a 2.1 engine? I'm thinking of boring a 2.1 (or 2.0) to 2.3, and using the cyl.head and injectionsystem from a 2.3.... Thanks for your time (and help) :-) -- Mvh EspenB (Norway)
