Subject: Brake light problems

This sounds pretty crazy, but a few months ago I had to replace my headlight switch in my 95 900S. The switch had broken apart somehow, so when I was removing it, a peice of metal came loose and in fell across two of the contacts on the switch. The battery was still connected so there was a slight pop when the metal hit, but nothing big. I installed a new switch, but now I have brake light problems. When the headlights are on, the brakelights stay on. This is a problem for obvious reasons. I know Saabs have some electrical voodoo, but if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
