Subject: Re: Annoying (and worrying) oil Leak - '91 9000

Where is the leak? If it is on the front side of the motor near the timing components it could be seals. Very common the o-ring behind the oil sensor becomes hard and brittle hence no longer retains the oil. Very simple and cheap to fix especially with your next oil service. The o-ring from the dealer was less than $1.50 and it took less than 15 minutes to replace in the driveway including draining the oil.
