I have driven both and prefer the classic, probably because for 16 years it defined
what a Saab should be and the 9-3 just seemed to have lost the some of the best
features of the Saab.  If you have never owned and driven the classic, then the 9-3
would seem to be a fine car and if that is your perception, it is your reality.
