Hi everyone, Have a 99 Saab 9.5, now doing approx 6k miles per year - it's been commandeered by my wife for the school run! It's now done 19,250 miles - and is about 600 miles over it's mileage service ( last done at 12,700 miles ) but on reading the warranty it's to be serviced either every 6k or every 12 months. The 12,7 service was done 15 months ago. However we were also out of the country for 3 months during this time, so the car never turned a wheel. Car has today developed a bad smoking from the rear - complete with intermittent drop in compression. Going by feel only, hasn't been tested yet. My fear is that when I put it into the dealer they'll give me hell and refuse any warranty claim on this - since it is a little over the servivce in mileage terms . I would expect any car of this quality to be able to have tolerances like that, but can anyone tell me ( good or bad ) what to expect? TIA. Al. -- Al
