Subject: Re: 9000 Driver/co driver computer

Chris There are, I believe, 3 versions of the computer. The early one has an "E" button, and has 2 No 8 pin sockets on the back. The middle version has the same front as 3rd unit, but retains the 2 rear sockets as the 1st version, and the 3rd unit has a single 16 pin socket. Confused? Even worse, the 2 plugs in the car will fit either of the 2 sockets in versions 1 & 2...I have a 92 car-if you solve this I would be interested to know which you fitted Chris Chris Hayes <chris.hayesnopsamorld.com> wrote in message news:3cWO6.18602$m93.2342008nopsam6-win.server.ntlworld.com... > I've just got hold of a driver/co driver computer to replace the analogue > clock in my 1991 9000xs. > > I've found the wireing in the dash and conected it up. > > The only problem is the back light only comes on when I press the "INFO" > button. > > If I hold the "INFO" button in, all the functions work as they should. > > There is a white and a blue wire that arn't connected. > > Anybody got any Idea's what the problem could be? > > Chris. > >
