Plastic dipsticks - waw, never heard of that one. When was this introduced? I mean the 4cyl saab engines are all very similar. Years ago I had a Fiat, one day I forgot to replace the dipstick. I stopped as the oil lamp came on. You should have seen the engine compartment! I suppose it made a good rust protection.
