Subject: Re: Uneven front tyre wear 96 9000CSE 2.3LPT

Hi, I had this a while ago, on two reasonable types after the ball oints had been replaced. I was told that the front *HAD* to be set up with a TOE OUT of 1 to 2 deg because it was FWD. I ended up replacing the tyres and setting the alignment to 0.5 deg toe in and they have been fine ever since. I guess if you drive hard all the time 1 deg toe out would be fine Ian Tim H wrote: > Hello....just had to replace two front Goodyear Eagle NCT 3's on this car > after 16K miles, after noticing that the inner edge had worn more quickly > than the out edge - maybe 1mm or so.
