Subject: SV: Rear bumper removal & respray

Well, removing the bumper shouldĄt be a big problem. I think itĄs attached with a couple of bolts - loosen them and then pull the bumper backwards. I would not remove the skin from the beam, but I would give the guys in the shop this proposal: Day 1 go to them, and then remove the bumper. They wont have any problems preparing and painting it same day. If they have a modern paintbox they are using heat to speed up the "drying" of the paint. You should have no problem putting it back on your car by end of day 2. Sounds Ok? /Magnus Paul Hutchings <paul.hutchingsnopsamnetNOSPAM> skrev i diskussionsgruppsmeddelandet:Xns90C2D9053D7C3paulhutchingsgmxnetnopsam42.224. 159... > I've been getting prices to have the rear bumper on my 1995 900 removed, > totally stripped and repainted (the paint is peeling as it wasn't primed > properly by whoever did it before).
