I don't know about others, but I've never found the Saab 9000 a/c to be as cold as other cars I've had. (A jaguar I once owned would give you frostbite on the cheek/ear if you drove with the vent pointing at your face!). I just checked the temperature yesterday using a cheap multimeter with a temp sensor. It was a hot day (for England - 21C) and the temperature was 19C from the vent whilst driving without a/c and 14C with a/c, measured at the centre vent. Are you sure the a/c is actually working? There is a relay in the glovebox that periodically clicks on and off when the a/c is operational and refrigerant is present, together with the compressor running and the colling fan should come on. The system won't function if refrigerant level is too low. -- Regards, Danny http://www.gaggia-espresso.com (a purely hobby site) swap Z for above characters in email address to reply
