It is made by Thule specially for SAAB 9-5. The rack will go into pre-drilled and reinforced holes at the side of the roof. Very simple to install and remove when not needed. Then what you need is a couple of Thule bike holders which can be fastened on to the roof rack. You can either get one that requires the removal of the front wheels or one that will hold the complete bicycle. Go to the Thule site for a glimpse of the various types of racks. Carrying bicycle on roof rack is definitely more secure that using rear rack which tend to move or even swing around if the straps are not securely fastened. Happy Saabing and biking.
