The US version has manual headlight aimers; gray knobs on the back of the headlight housing. Apparently the US government decided that the instructions in the owner's manual were inadequate and required SAAB USA to send out an update. It arrived in the same style envelope that real safety recalls come in and included some of the same legalese boilerplate that real recalls do.
