The only quirky thing on my 9-3 is the location of the starting switch, and once you get used to the location, it's hard to believe other people don't put it there. Other than this, there's nothing "quirky" about the car. I guess the 9-3 could be considered quirky here in America because it's a relatively expensive hatchback, and there are few hatchbacks here. Considering that the 9-3 came out in 1999 (I believe), how many cars have even driven 100k miles? Also, it's an updated 900, so if the 900 was good, the 9-3 is likely better.
