I climbed into a new 4WD not so long ago and to my surprise there were a range of instruments fitted to it which I expected only to find in a plane.... compass, altitude, horizon, gradient, inside temp, outside temp... probably more. There was a reason for all of them... particularly since the ownner does a lot of off-road driving in forests and mountains. I *think* it was a Nissan. Compasses are not a bad idea... particularly when driving on unfamiliar roads at night.... believe me... I am no astronomer. Ian Harry Davis wrote: > What car does come with a built in compass?
