biggest problem on my 91 turbo is the tranny, check that fluid changes occured, and also listen for pinion bearing whine, plus syncro 's for 2nd and 3rd gear ALWAYS PRESS IN THE CLUTC?H TO THE FLOOR IN A 900 SAAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! + take your time shifting! you will love the car. other than that , 91's tend to be a great year! a new tranny is $1500 and $1000 to install if you arent car savy. I just replaced mine myself.
