Before you buy the generic Bosch Ox sensor, check on prices of the exact OEM replacement Bosch from various automotive discount suppliers, including Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, NAPA, etc. I recently replaced the Ox sensor in my daughter's '87 900S 16-valve, and it was less than $80 (an exact Bosch repacement with the same part number as in the Bentley manual). And, the ox sensor for my '85 900 8-valve was in the $35 price range - again the same exact OEM replacement Bosch. Both were purchased at a local Advance Auto Parts dealer. Don't buy your parts from the SAAB dealer, there are other alternatives. Another place to look is an internet SAAB parts source - thesaabsite.com. I've purchased quite a few parts from them and their prices are very reasonable. Most of their parts are OEM - they actually get their parts from the suppliers who supply parts to SAAB. A very good source of parts . . . Don Allen '85 900 8-valve '87 900S 16-valve
