Hello, "Zoggie" ! There are some pretty detailed discussions about this set-up, the installation, and the one problem people are having at the 9-5 board on saabnet.com. But here's the summary: - The installation is relatively easy if you're comfortable taking your car apart a bit and making electrical connections. If not, have it done professionally. - It really does work. There's one issue though. After installing Triad and car kit, some people (including me) are hearing an annoying "whine" noise when using Onstar. This is a known issue, and Jim at Uhltronics apparently is working on a filter that will get rid of this noise. - If you want Onstar to take over the stereo system even if you're on the phone (which is important if you're in an accident when on the phone and want Onstar to be able to check-in to see whether to send help), this seems to be the only way to do it. I'm very, very happy with this set-up. The whine noise with Onstar does bother me, but I don't use it so much that it's a huge deal to me. ...MF -- Marc D.
