2234 was the last code entered by 'someone'. Leave the unit 'on' for an hour. It is apparent that 4 tries have been made and now the radio needs to be on (beep beep beep) for one hour (really). Then try again. I do not remember if code magically appears or if you need to hold the band button until it appears, but there you go.
