It's an all season version of the P7000. 205-50-16. I have 16x7.5" Borbet wheels, which makes the 205 sit a bit wider than stock. Excellent tires so far in rain, significant snow, and dry. If you don't need all season's then you can get the "regular" version. I think you may have a few other choices over in the UK. >Not sure what the *disadvantages* of wider low profile tyres are apart >from cost. Harder ride and possible damage. Since there is such a short sidewall with a 17" tire, you have to run them with high pressure to avoid damage. This gives a harsher, and bouncier, ride. There are posts here all the time about bent wheels. You can get really expensive forged wheels that will be much stronger, but they are pricey. If you live where there are lots of road imperfections, 17"'ers are not all that practical, IMHO. If the roads are smooth, say in Southern CA, you might do OK. > >Jeremy > >In article <iu8hkt8vp78nmh1r0i9ejglrrpfhdln3bcnopsamcom>, Bob ><uctraingnopsamanet.com> wrote: >>On Fri, 06 Jul 2001 21:37:22 -0400, "Kenneth S." <nimrodnopsams.com> >>wrote: >> >>>I have a 1996 900SE, which I bought about six months ago.
