Subject: Re: Mounting CD in Glove box?

I mounted a Clarion 635 in the glovebox of a '97 900SE 2 door. I agree with Micah's basic 6 steps. My personal experiences that differ from Micah's are: I removed the glove box side of the dash from the car and took the entire assemble to my work bench. I used the brackets\screws that came with the unit PLUS a bunch of brackets I bought at Radio Shack. I was able to install mid way in the glove box. (won't close if on the floor) This leaves room to still use the glove box to hold the manaul, maps, gloves???, etc. There is also a few inches or room above the changer. I cut the hole for the cable in the back left corner and had to abandon the glove box light and switch assembly that had been monuted there. I did not make any other mods. to the size/shape of the glove box and the door operates fine. Hope this helps - Dave "Micah Donahue & Kristen Shea" <mkdonahuenopsamaone.net> wrote in message news:B76E8500.8BA%mkdonahuenopsamaone.net... > My Clarion 635 install in glove box of 95 900SET coupe was quite easy, but > took 3-4 hrs all told.
