Hi, Once, I had a similar problem on an Oldsmobile. It turned out to be a worn out bearing on the idler pulley. So, take the belt off and check to see if all the pulleys turn freely and truely, no sticking or grinding. When you put the belt back on, make sure it isn't too tight. Hope this helps, NZ
