There is a tech fix on this from Saab, but you can do it yourself...remove mirror assbly from housing and add three washers to the inside fastening points. This 'tilts' the entire housing outward and lets the mirror 'see' farther out. I can't remember the tech bulletin number but you may able to find in a search or at the dealer... As a quick fix you can get one of those little round/square convex mirrors and stick it in one corner..
