hello, what model of '87? a few specifics would help. possible causes are: - misalignment of a pulley (one of the units (alt, ac, etc) may be tipped due to bolts being loose/broken, or offset a tad (if there was recent maintenance)) - sloppy/weak/misadjusted/tight tensioner (arm or pulley) - failing bearing in one of the driven units -- Nate t.
